My Summer 2025 internship with II&M allowed me to formally study Islamic bioethics in a way not offered during medical school. Through the Islam and Bioethics course and close mentorship, I gained confidence engaging ethical questions at the intersection of medicine, Islam, and emerging technologies. The experience continues to shape my professional growth.
