Lecture Overview
These Lecture will focus on the moral choices individuals face when approaching death in modern society, specifically those surrounding organ donation and withdrawal or withholding life support.
The talk will be divided into three parts. (i) a theological reflection on preparing for death and its importance in the modern era; (ii) Islamic ethico-legal conceptions rulings employ when faced with decisions for loved ones nearing the end-of-life.
